Chimacum is working farm country — pasture, barns, hay storage, and small acreages, all of which support pest populations that eventually find the house.
Hay and feed storage sustains rodent populations year-round, and rodents bring their own insect passengers. Barns and pole buildings give wasps ideal protected nesting under high eaves. Pasture-adjacent homes see ground-nesting yellowjackets in numbers that surprise people who moved here from town.
Farm outbuildings are the reservoir. Perimeter service on the house alone will underperform.
Average annual rainfall here runs about 22 inches, which is the single biggest factor in what shows up against your foundation and when. We build the treatment schedule around that rather than applying one generic program across the whole peninsula.
$600 a year in Sequim for a typical single-family home: 4 quarterly visits, with web and wasp nest knockdown at every visit. Current special: 10% off when you sign a one-year contract. Other towns add a small travel charge, quoted up front.
Covered by the contract at no extra charge — including spider web knockdown and wasp nest removal.
Chimacum's farmland puts barns, feed and houses close together. We run heavy-duty, tamper-resistant locked stations, serviced monthly — with a lower-risk bait for rural and acreage land, and a trapping-only Wildlife-Safe option that puts no rodenticide on your property at all. Why that choice matters here →
Rodent plans from $69/month
The Rain Shadow program is $600 a year for a typical single-family home in Sequim: 4 quarterly exterior treatments, with web and wasp nest knockdown at every visit. Right now there is a special: 10% off when you sign a one-year contract. Chimacum is priced from the Sequim rate plus a small travel charge, quoted up front. Larger properties and outbuildings are quoted by the size of your property and the scope of your IPM plan, flat and in writing before you commit. We publish the price because you should not have to book a sales visit to find out what something costs.
